TES Award Winner!
色播五月 proudly accepted the award for 鈥楤est Use of Technology鈥� Award at the TES Independent School Awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London last night.聽This award recognises 鈥渕easureable excellence in the use of education technology by a school鈥�.聽In September 2016, Caterham opened a new Innovation Centre that includes a robotics centre, a virtual-reality room, a green screen/editing room, animation pods, a video conferencing room and the base for a drone that films in high definition.聽Of the Innovation Centre, the TES Independent School Awards judges said, 鈥淐aterham鈥檚 innovation centre has done that, bringing together technology and opportunity, and allowing pupils to thrive as a result.鈥�
Headmaster Ceri said “This is a fantastic affirmation of all the outstanding work we are doing in this area, including the use iPads but particularly the around the growth of areas like the Innovation Centre. We should all be enormously proud of being recognised in this way 鈥� I am particularly grateful to Adam Webster and Neil Stokes who have led so much of the work in the development of the application and use of technology, but also to Kim Wells for the broader push on technology in the classroom. I am also very grateful to the PA who provided a lot of the kit that pupils use in the Innovation Centre.”
