Medics Society
Caterham Medics Society if for all those L6th students interested in studying a healthcare related course at university. Most popular of which is Medicine- but also including but not limited to Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy and Chiropractic’s.
The sessions revolve around developing personal skills through working together, developing a proactive nature and exploring the professions further to lead ultimately to an application to some of the most competitive courses in the country.
Session content over the course of 2018-2019 included, university application, medical presentations, ethics, NHS structure and much more.
The society also arranges external speakers to come in- in 2018-2019 this included, GPs, Chief Operating Officer of Surrey and Sussex NHS Foundation Trust and a Neurosurgeon.
